| Blessings
Blessings are earned ICly through a series of requirements that are listed below. These are gained over time and do not have to relate to the character's birth star. Blessings grant additional privileges that exceed perks. Be warned, however, as breaking a star's trust and defying its nature will lead to being cursed.
Obtaining a Blessing
In order to obtain a blessing, you most follow 6 steps:
1. Complete Level 1 Tasks
2. Purchase Cut Scene item from the shop, write a 500+ word cut scene for yourself, post a level up request in updates
3. Complete Level 2 Tasks
4. Purchase Cut Scene item from the shop, write a 500+ word cut scene for yourself, post a level up request in updates
5. Complete Level 3 Tasks
6. Purchase Cut Scene item from the shop, write a 500+ word cut scene for yourself, post a level up request in updates
Congratulations! The blessing is now yours!
Every season after obtaining your blessing, you will have to complete a Faith Check. This Faith Check is designed to determine how faithful you are to the patron that you have chosen to follow—or how closely your choices align with the stars that watch over you secretly. If you fail your Faith Check, you will be cursed until you complete a Redemption Task.
Cut Scenes are dreams and events that serve to introduce your character to the native star that is beginning to take an interest in your wolf. Cut Scenes get progressively more obvious and overt after each level, but your character never has to believe in the stars and may wave away the strange scenarios on a myriad of external factors that exclude divinity. Cuts Scenes consist of 1 post from your character that engages with a scenario of your choosing that relates to your chosen star. The post must be 500+ words and should serve as an entrance and exit. Always be sure to link to and label your completed tasks at the bottom.
Redemption Tasks are singular tasks of intermediate difficulty. Once completed, you purchase a Cut Scene event, finish the Cut Scene, and you are subsequently purified of your curse. Cursed wolves cannot cleanse their blessings with the Cleanse Blessing item in the shop, and they cannot be blessed by another star.
THREADS MUST ALL BE COMPLETE and must have AT LEAST 5 POSTS from your character to count. Once a thread has been used to fulfill a requirement it cannot be used again. If one of your threads does not hit 5 posts but you would like to use it, you can use TWO COMPLETE THREADS with post counts less than 5 to fulfill the same requirement. Note: the cumulative posts across both threads must at least be 5 from your character.
Levels
Levels are designed to go up in difficulty steadily, though each user will find some requirements more difficult than others. Tasks can be completed in any order ICly. There are two types of requirements, objective tasks and subjective tasks.
Objective tasks require you to complete a specific task such as meeting 15 wolves. These tasks require as many threads as you need to complete them. Objective tasks are marked with an [O].
Subjective tasks require you to complete something that is open to interpretation such as fall in love or survive a greivous wound. These tasks require at least 1 thread for Level 1, 2 threads for Level 2, and 3 threads for Level 3. Subjective tasks are marked with an [S].

|
Rivalry |
|
Benefits |
+ In raids: attacks 5 damage and below do nothing to you
+ With their intense focus, these wolves are said to have a tenacity that rivals the stars above and through sheer force of willpower may re-roll the colors and constellations of an entire litter once
+ Wolves with this blessing derive strength from struggle and thrive off the adrenaline rush of combat. Once per raid, they may heal +10hp |

|
Eldritch Tree |
|
Benefits |
+ The Eldritch Tree is a soothsayer, a prophet. Characters with this blessing can save any character's life, even their own, once per raid
+ The Eldritch Tree is a protector of all, especially those less fortunate or deemed misfits in the world. In a raid, no one on their team may be critically hit
+ Wolves with this blessing have a naturally peaceful, calming effect on those around them. Other wolves are more agreeable in their presence, and negotiations/arguments more easily solved. They can divert a war once per year. The pack cannot be attacked until the next season
|
Level 1 |
+ [S] Provide comfort to another
+ [S] Mediate an argument
|
Level 2 |

|
Shadow |
|
Benefits |
+ You win at least one luck round in a judged fight
+ Gain a +2 instead of +1 when a skill is stronger in combat

+ [O] Complete 10 threads
|
Level 3 |
+ [O] Witness death, crippling, or scarring in a raid
+ [O] Win at least 2 luck rolls in a judged fight

Others immediately find your words untrustworthy. Your promises mean nothing, and your fellows discount your skills. Just as your words fall short in convincing others of your authenticity, so too shall your luck fall short -- you lose every luck round in the fight thread.
